Gautier Gamesday Warhammer40K Tournament

Putting together a tournament at the Gautier convention tournament. Still working out the details. This what I can tell you so far.

Are you holding this tourney in conjunction with the Gulf Coast Gamers Club ...... Their Games Day is also on 12/08/12. If so this a real good group. The facilities are first class .... The Gautier Convention center adjacant to the Gautier Library on the shared Gautier campus of MGCCC and Southern. The place is on Hwy 90 just east of Singing River Mall. The SMAC (Field Od Glory) group held our Average Joe tourney with them at the convention center this year and it was great. As it turns out we are holding a new FOG tourney, " Into the Breach", with them this Nov 17th. FOG guys like to name their tourney's. Any way thanks for trying to put this together ... I

I'm interested in coming to this even though most of you haven't met me.
And I have 2-4 shelvess worth of terrain
I'll check back on the boards tomorrow. Also should be at the flea market saturday

I can bring tables and terrain. I can easily bring 2 tables and terrain and if I have to can bring 2 more for a total of four, but it's a complete bitch to load up the second two, so let me know if you need those.

As always, looking forward to throwing down some dice with my friends on the coast. I'll see what I can do about getting people up here to come down!

Here's the scoop

One force org chart
Each game will have three objectives-one worth ten, one worth five, and one worth three
No comp score
You can play unpainted models, but you will not be eligable to win a prize
I wil have a ringer so you wont have to worry about a bye
Must bring at least two copies of you army list. Do not bring me some scribbled down crap on a cocktail napkin
You can play the aegis defence line or the bastion, no other fortifications
Each round will have a two and a half hour time limit
We pair up at 9:45, dice roll at 10:00
Five dollar entry fee
Located at the gautier community center which is next to the gautier library and MGCCC
First place is a gift certificate to the warstore for 150.00. Second place gets you a 50.00 gift certificate.

Each game will be based on an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie.
