Anyone up for a game this week?

I won't be able to make it to Jaks this Sunday, so I was wondering if anyone would be interested in meeting there sometime during the week or on Saturday for a game or two.

Any day (including today) except for Thursday. I get off work on weekdays at 4:30, so any time after that. All of Saturday is open for me as well.

How's Wednesday sound? I can meet at JAKs at 4:30-5:00. I'll bring Orks.

Ahhh I see. I was getting ready for last week's tournament, so I had to get it down to 2 hours per game. It really doesn't take long once you get the hang of it and know exactly what each of your units are capable of.

So how did the games go? Someone post a battle report!!!

Well the game that Grots and I played was very interesting, but it was taking pretty long. We ended up ending the game after turn 5 instead of rolling for it, and we each held an objective, so it was a tie. Admittedly, however, he definitely had an advantage. I think he took a couple pictures as well.

The game that Geno and I played was just plain bad for me. With a combination of straight up bad tactics and bad rolls, I got tabled on turn 4 I believe (maybe 5). In addition to the fact that I didn't play well, I sort of counted up my rolls: at least 1/3 (up to about 1/2) of my rolls were 1's... Heck, I lost 3 or 4 paladins in 1 turn (and a few of those lost wounds were to tyranid shooting...).

I'll go through and try to remember the games more thoroughly when it's not 1:30 in the morning haha.


Coincidentally, I won't be able to make it to Jaks this Sunday either because it is my dad's 60th birthday (our family has a ton of July birthdays). So if anyone would like to play any time this week, that would be very appreciated, as I am trying to get at least 1 game a week in. Aardvark... I'm lookin' at you!
