Ray Charles Invitational
At the club meeting on the 31st, I brought up that I'd like to run a game where the two army generals cannot see the field of battle. I have the basic framework for the game set up but I'd like to have help finishing the scenario. Here is what I have so far:
1. Two generals sit facing away from the table or behind a screen.
2. Scouts have 1 minute to draw a map of the table and make notes.
3. Generals are told what the objectives are. Hope the scouts took good notes.
4. Deployment, based on maps given by scouts. Any troops that infiltrate, can remain hidden to opponent until enemy unit comes within 12" of them. Infiltrated units that remain hidden will be able to report enemy units up to 24" away.
5. Movement of troops will be as in normal game, but if units encounter terrain, generals will be told that troops have hit them as 'radio' reports from the field commanders. Generals.
6. Enemy unit locations will be reported to the generals when units are within 18" of each other. Field commanders will use yards to report distances: 1' = 10 yards.
7. Game will consist of 4-7 rounds (depending on how things are going) and victory will be based on objectives held and kill points.
8. I'd like to use pre-built armies.
If anyone wants to help me with this, let me know.
