500 pt 40k day?

Would anyone be interested in either a 500 pt Sunday or tourney? It would be quick games and a good amount of fun. If your interested post here.

Actualy i would like that too! we could use the campain settings. the one were your winning units roll on a special ability at the end. i love that stuff. ASlo, i have a new idea i wana try out.

Any special rules? Might be hard for some armies to field minimum force org while maimtaining some level of customization...

Usually for 500 pts games you are allowed 0-1 HQ with a minimum of 1 troop and no armor totalling over 33 pts counting front, side(once)and rear, no 2+ saves, and some other stuff. There used to be rules for what was called 40k in a flash which was a 500pt game meant to be played on lunch break. If anyone has the 4th ed BRB i think the rules were in the back somewhere.

I was thinking minimum force org per dex as there are lots you can do at those point levels this idea is meant to be a fun thing not a conpetative thing and maybe we could throw in some team games ect but again just an idea at this point I would also like to entertain the idea of a campaign at 1850 pts with a 350 pt side board. I have a few ideas as to theme and such but just Throwing out the feelers as to who would be in.

Here are the old rules for 40k in a flash. It keeps the game balanced at that point level, because and land raider at 500pts is kinda unbalanced

Army limitations
Each player’s army must conform to the rules below:
• Armies are no more than 500 points (750)
• You must have one troop choice (750 – 2 troops)
• You may have one HQ choice but no more than one. You do not have to take an HQ choice.
• You may spend any remaining points on anything from your codex list from the Standard Troop Organization chart.
• No HQ model can have more than 2 wounds (750 – 3 wounds)
• No special characters or Monstrous creatures allowed
• No 2+ saves or better are allowed
• No vehicles with a total armor equal to or greater than 33 for front, side (count once) and rear armor combined. (750 – 34 total)
• All models must be WYSIWYG


Commanders
As noted above you do not have to take an HQ choice in your force, but a commander must still be nominated. This model is the senior ranking figure – the model with the highest leadership. In the case of models being equal rank, only one can be the force commander, and this model must be specified before the game begins.

And for grey knights it means we have to take an inquisitor as all our other HQ's come with 2+ armor lol.
