Got my fantasy army out again

Well, I dug out my undead and dusted them off. Using Army Builder, I've made up several lists of various point sizes and am looking forward to (re)learning fantasy. For now, it's going to be very small games with just one or two units to see how exactly combat works, then once that is down, add in magic and whatever other special rules they've got now.

I'm looking forward to dusting off my Ogres and getting some games in too. Thanks again Grots!!

I had fun today. I like the 8th edition rules. Looking forward to spending some time with my fantasy guys.

8th edition really sped things up. I believe Patrick still has a fantasy army and I'm tempted to.rebuild my ogres for the great maw. Nothing like an army that eats the rider and the horse and doesn't bother to take off the armor hahaha

And there own club if they get hungry enough!

Bringing Tomb Kings on Sunday.

Been working on the Tomb Kings. They're starting to look like an army now. I still have more tomb guard to build, so there will be more swearing before it's done, but progress is happening.

So will we actually start playing fantasy this time? lol

You never told me when. lol But I am glad it didn't catch on at the time it did because I was ready to buy tomb kings and it would have sucked if I bought all of it and no one played.lol

Im really tempted to build a small Ogre army again. I used to have one and loved playing it.

Ogres are an unbeatable army. The 40k equivalent fighting ogres would be 2000 points of grots trying to defeat 2000 points of terminators.

My Fiancee n I are fixing go buy island of blood box, i will be playing skaven since i have always liked the cute lil buggers and my Fiancee will be playing high elves i have wanted to play fantasy for a while. It took watching guppy and grots to remind me of that :
