I just want to get you guys opinion on the new necron codex and what you think is good!

Well the we'll be back is now reanimation protocols which is on 5 plus unless you pay for the most expensive piece of wargear the rez orb to make it 4 plus. Ghost arcs for warrior transport will be regenerating d3 a turn onto the squad. Scarabs move like beast which makes them really fast and a 4 plus to hit will reduce all armor facings by 1 on vehicles... Against powerarmor they won't have a save. . Monoliths are easier to kill now. . The main transport/heavy support flier isn't released in this wave. Which the only thing that the ghost arcs are dedicated to are warriors. Gauss still glance vehicles on 6.

Their achiles heel will be closecombat. Their Iniative 2 won't help them there. Plus if you make them fall back they can't do the reanimation protocols. The problem will be they have many tricks all around in the form of abilities to screw with the opponent... If this was magic the gathering I'd call it board control, but I don't know what the term is for here.... Maybe table control?

I think they'll be fun to play for the most part. Really durable, kinda slow, but shooty.

So any tactics to share with Necrons?.....

Well to start off with me. I've used Doomscythes(proxied as razorwings until the actual model comes out) in every game to great affect... Coupled with the stormlords ability of keeping nightfighting in play helps somewhat with their survivability. I use two scarab squads as main fast attack for tank hunting. Solar pulse on a destruction cryptek helps out as well. Been proxying Triarch stalkers with a twin heavy gauss cannon for the 36 range instead of 24. After that ghost arks hitting the target with 15 twinlinked flux arc shots is pretty cool.

Close combat isn't our friend though.
