new necrons

Beat me to it! If the rules are legit, I will be starting a new necron army. I was not expecting the vehicles to be released in the first wave.

I must say this far far far! exeeded my expectations!

I'm just gonna say I don't like the models. They look like tomb kings with crude guns glued on. However I am looking forward to a new cheezy army so I can quit listening to people complain about GK lol

I admit I complained about GK alot but I was so focused on how good the psyfile man dread is. The army is not op but that unit is really really good, but I guess its no different from the vendetta, basically what I am saying you want hear any more of that from me. However plz feel free to cry cheese if they do turn out to be cheezy.

I like Necrons enough to play them now. I'm going to wait on the new ones and let all the bandwagon types buy them up. In a few months, when the new car smell wears off I'll pick up tons of them cheap. They do look like Tomb Kings now and those vehicles look too fragile. Buying cases and foam for them will cost more than the army.

I just looked on the website and it looks like they have pulled a lot of their primary model lines off the website. Looks like it should be soon.

I agree they do look like tomb kings, but take into rhe fact that they are egyptian themed and have always been such. I mean come on, their current vehicle is a floating pyramid! Lol i like the new models though, they give me the impression as if they at first been awakened n now their full power suddenly released. The vehicles remind me of egyptian war chariot. Although i have no intrest in playing necrons but im excited to play against them!

Lol. It's not just you. You had plenty of reason to gripe about fortitude for 5pts when you're paying 15 to make yours fast. But now that you are a son of Dorn I welcome you with open arms and hope to play your bronze warrriors against my Task Force Hammer when they are done.

Found these rumors about the necrons. Theres a little life in these corpses! Just take it with a grain of salt...

I am most likely not going to being playing necrons anytime soon as a few of the models I want are not out yet such as the flyer, walker, plastic destroyers, plastic tomb spyders. The person I have painting and assembling for me hates metal so I will most likely just buy some troop choices, unless I can come up with a build for what they have available.

Looks like the base necron warriors are the same.

I just pre ordered my codex and imotek the stormlord. . . . If you google Faeit 212 he's pretty good about the rumors out there. From his rumors and from on the GW site what mat ward says. Its pretty much a match.

Yeah, I'll get the codex and see how my existing Necrons fit into the new book. I've got enough of the old metal warriors and immortals to be "counts as" for the new units and still have a unique and still tomb kingy look to keep my wallet happy. The new transports just look dumb to me, and too fragile.

I dont think they look dumb but id have to agree they do LOOK fragile but i guess cunnin here hax volunteered to test rhat theory

Yup might be a month and a half before I start really playing them. Still be playing wolf wing until I get some more stuff. I get paid once a month so yeah.... excited, but frustrated at the same time.
