Vampire Counts rumors

From what I've read on another site Vampire Counts will be in January I think. . .

Just thought that I'd contribute to this part of the site... I'll eventually get into fantasy, but have too many 40k stuff going on at the moment.

That's good, since Vampire Counts are my other army.

Just curious... How they play? What's the difference in playstyle compaired to tomb kings?

Looks like their still saying in January is Vampire Counts...

Tomb Kings are an army where a unit by itself isn't that great, but add a certain hero and magic item and it's a whole new ballgame. I haven't played Vampires yet.

Cool... off subject somewhat, but the beastmen I'm starting is a hordes army with alot of closecombat punch in some units from what I gather from the rulebook... Don't know what some of the special rules is because I'm ordering the small rulebook soon to figure that out... May get a battallion for christmas..

Beastmen are a sweet army if u have it redy in january im gonna do a campaign and using blood in the bad lands

I won't have it ready by that time cause I don't have any of the models yet getting paid once a month kinda puts a damper on these things... probably later in the year though.

The Coven throne/Mortis engine is the ugliest model I think I've ever seen.

will that stop you from playing them though? lol..

All the other new kits look great. I made huge progress on painting my skeletons today and will spend all day tomorrow painting more.

This is the new rules and units for vampire counts... So we are getting close to the release folks.

Looks like GW wants to sell a ton of Vampire Counts models. I'll be using mostly the same skeletons that I've got for my Tomb Kings army with added ghouls and zombies for my VC's. The photo of the new Mortis Engine is colossally ugly, but maybe it will look better in person.

I like the coach looking model lol i think it looks good
