A trip to the movies

So anyone seen immortals in theatres and was it good?

It was okay.

ok as in good or ok as in thought it was awesome because the same people made 300, but a let down?

Saw a preview of the Hobbit movie on youtube that comes out next december.... It should be awesome. I remember watching the cartoon as a kid and reading the book in literature class.

Yup... I like medieval stories like that.... I'm a lord of the rings geek.... Not into the tabletop game, but a geek still.... So yes I'm sure to go blind from overexposure from pure awesomeness when it comes out..

Never got that into LotR im a starwars geek... que randals rant about LotR from clearks 2..

I'm hearing good things about Tintin.

I like star wars, star trek, stargate, just about anything sci-fi... I liked the lord of the rings series too. I liked other old stuff like Conan, clash of titans, hercules legendary journeys, xena warrior princess... Also like werewolf, vampire, mummy, and monster movies...

The last movie I watched recently is Twilight: Breaking dawn part 1.... It was pretty good

I don't judge anything until I at least see it... I've known people (My in-laws) that don't let their kids watch harry potter, lord of the rings, golden compass, or chronicles of narnia simply because they thought it to be blasphemy... My kids aren't going to be raised in a bland environment like that..
They judge a movie before seeing it and I believe that's being closed minded on the situation. So don't knock it until you try it... lol

I may watch twilight someday just to see what all the fuss is about.

I actually like the fight scenes between vampire and vampire or werewolf vs vampire... The vampires on it isn't allergic to sunlight still super strong/fast... It's just their skin is covered in crystals that reflect the sun. They did their research on werewolves and the person that wrote the books. Put them as an indian tribe on a reservation that call their werewolves spirit warriors that only change to defend their home against vampires. They aren't the cross between human and wolf like others ether... It's like they are shapeshifters that turn into big wolves.... The whole storyline is kinda like Underworld except with teenagers and like a chick flick drama... I prefer the wolfman newest movie or Underworld rise of the lycans....

I hated the books and the first movie did not impress me. Now i want to see a few movies like real steal and rise of the planet of the apes.

Yeah rise of planet of the apes is good. My mothers friend at her workplace gets bootlegs out of theatres. So I seen it that way.... Kinda annoying with the brightness dimming and going back bright, but watchable.

When i bought my tv at best buy i was hypnotized into wanting it! (As in they played the trailer for it over and over till i wanted to watch it)

Curse best buy and their hypnotist tricks.....

Another Underworld movie coming out too!!!!! And I'm also dying to see the Hobbit.... someone actually uses more than 1 dwarf in a story!!! lol

Yes there are movies I think are better than okay. Immortals is not one of them. The story plot was fine and dandy, but the execution on plot points was garbage and the characters were one dimentsional. The only thing that saved this movie was some of the action scenes.

And don't you dare say anything bad about the Notebook!!!

Um... Calm down... I was just asking... How about Iron clad that's on dvd has anyone watched that one?

I never seen the notebook so I won't judge it yet...
