The Knights Errant are eager to defend the citizens of the Imperium against any foe. In the short time it has been active, the chapter have mostly done small skirmishes, defending imperial planets from invasion, and lending aid in the rebuilding of recapured planets. The last Campain the Knight Errants took part of was defending and Agri-world from Eldar Invaision*. Tho failing to stop the invasion entirely, the chapter did halt further Xenos expansion onto the planet.

FYI, April 1st is when AMR's new schedule goes into effect. Currently, I have Sunday's off, but that is subject to change when new schedules are handed out. I probably won't know my new days off until a few days before then.

Post  CKO on Fri Mar 09, 2012 1:52 am

Not quite sure whats going on scratch but I am lost 75% of the time anyways so here is my list and the reason for joining!

Word of the Iron Warriors location reached our ears. Few in the Imperium remember the Iron Cage but like all of Rogal Dorn battles we remember them and remember them well. It was a great war that ended with the Iron Warriors retreating because of the appearance of the Ultramarines. The inteference of the Ultramarines prevented Dorn from crushing the Iron Warriors completely. Now we have a chance to fix the Ultramarines error, we have a chance to finish what our Lord started, this time we will not let the Ultramarines intefere, this time they face the Undaunted Predators and they shall know fear!

2k List Black Templar

Hq
Emperor's Champion (Accept all Challenges No Matter the Odds)

Elite
5xAssault Terminators SS&TH
5xTerminators 2xAssault Cannons tankhunter 2xChainfist
5xTerminators 2xCyclone Missle Launchers tankhunter 2xChainfist

ok my 2000 pt list. I'm running my Children of Atrophy. I'm still working on some of the fluff but I have this so far. They have been blessed with a virus they refer to as the Blight, and the Imperium has dubbed the IDV-89 virus strand.

Children of Atrophy

IDV-89 causes sever immunodeficiency, effectivly shutting down the immune system while at the same time boosting the bodies regeneration abilities effecrivly letting the body host, carry, and experience every sickness known to man, without dying from it.

Led by Lord Muticus, originally a captain in the death guard before becoming infected.

The Children of Atrophy now spread across the galaxy causing havoc and spreading disease. They delight in hitting worlds and not destroying, but corrupting them. They have a large cult following, mainly composed of sick beggars, homeless, and sickly looking to father nurgle for relief. The marines are formed from all chapters, loyal and traitor, who have succumbed to the IDV-89 virus as it can infect all living matter, human, alien, and xenos.

Lord Muticus, (mos, lash of submission) [ only HQ in current codex that fit the list Sad ]

3x 7 plague marines, 2 melta guns, fist
3x rhinos, 2 with havoc launcher

2x plague marines, 2 plasma guns, fist
2x rhino with havoc launcher

2 possessed vindicator

3 obliterators.

2000 pts

Blue energy pulsed across the librarians hands as he tossed the corrupted corpse of the traiter guardsmen onto the burning pile of bodies he already interrogated. The chief librarian approached the display. Lord Mephiston you and your strike force are to move to sector X-R 840 there has been rumors of heresy in the area. Re: 40k Campaign

Post  EmeraldWolf on Sun Mar 11, 2012 3:50 pm

The hulking thunder wolf known as Iroh laid idle as his partner Wolf Lord Jhonár Wolfslaw meditated. The only sound that could be heard was a crackling torch and the occasional exhale from the armor-less astartes who sat completely still in the amber glow of the room that had once been a bedroom for an incompetent imperial governor. That governor had lost more than his job. Iroh's ears perked as a low thumping had increased to pounding of armored footsteps, both him and Jhonár had heard it; he had just chosen not to react. The pounding footsteps were revealed when one if Jhonár's fellow sky warriors of Fenris, a Space Wolf space marine had opened the door. The marine was older than Jhonár and had sunken facial features along with an array of scars, he wore green battle paint that showed he was a survivor of the tragedy that had pushed the largest surge in recruits from Fenris since the heresy had split the imperium. Jhonár was one of these recruits, that was history but the look on the grey hunters face showed tension and his scent said that the matter was urgent. "What is it Seamas?" Jhonár had not needed to look at him to recognize the grey hunter; his scent gave him all the information he needed.

"Lord, a transmission from one of the Great Wolf's scouts, he is asking for you personally." Seamas seemed surprised.

"Have my brother meet me with an armorer in the comm. room" Jhonár growled with a smile and stood hefting the spear known as kraken-killer. He bounded out if the room wearing only a wolf pelt and his prized river dragon pelt. Iroh followed effortlessly and a few short moments later they were in the former governor’s communications room. On the holographic image provided by the logic engines and astropaths stood a wounded wolf scout.

“Wolf Lord Johnnar, I am on a mining world logged in the navis as X-R-840. I do not have much time before these astropaths will be killed, and I with them. I am already succumbing to the infection.” The scout winced in pain.

“What ails you brother? What infection?”

“The inquisition calls it IDV-89, it is chaos plague that was engineered by a traitor group calling themselves the Children of Atrophy, it’s faster than we can cure and it doesn’t kill but it mutates the host. I am contacting you as upon notifying the Great wolf he instructed me to advise you of the presence of a pack of the 13th company that I have spotted, one of their number has been captured and I believe that they intend to use him as a experiment to test the effectiveness of the plague on Space Wolves. I am sending what information I have collected on the plague so far, but he data is incomplete. Also, I felt it pertinent to inform you that the hated enemy is here in force along with known Iron Warriors presence, I was also informed that a Tyranid splinter fleet has been lured here for further tests on xenos biology.”

“I will dispatch a force to your location immediately and personally lead it! We will derive a counter agent to this plague so we may get you to full strength.”

“I will not survive, my Lord, Vlka Fenryka! For the Allfather!” he sternly grunted as he drew the bolt pistol to his temple, the transmission ended before anymore could be seen.

Jhonár stood motionless for a moment, and turned to his brother Yjesha the Iron Priest who entered the chamber with an armorer and his retinue who proceeded to implant Jhonár’s rune armor to his black carapace. Yjesha wore a conglomerate of new age rune armor finely crafted by him during his internment on Mars. He ware the pelts of wolves, but was cautious for a fenrisian.

“What will you do brother?” Yjesha’s metallic voice rang and his cybernetic thunder wolf Onyic seemed to greet Iroh with familiarity.

“I will take a contingent and spearhead a force to fight the hated enemy and make contact with whatever presence the 13th company has there. We will catch them off balance and topple their forces. I will take Láchtnán with me as back up. Connar will remain here and lead the efforts on M’Ssissi and recover any 13th company relics or evidence here.”

“And what is your escape plan, should you fail? There is a large presence of traitor marines this could require the efforts of multiple companies…”

“Contact some of our allies and any other companies in the area and have them follow me in, I will not falter or slow in this brother. There is no escape plan, there is no running from this."

“As you wish, my brother. In memory of Ire. For Fenris. For the Allfather.”

“In memory of Ire brother. For Fenris. For the Allfather!”

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

fluff behind my list and it's involvement, I decided to throw in some of stewarts fluff as it seems like a good basis for why the 7th company is involved, and could make for some interesting grudge matches! Very Happy stuart let me know if you prefer me to change it up Smile list already posted but my back up 500 pts is ...
