meh alot of that seems stupid

such as the Ev rule... that is why certain units have a good save even though they have a normal toughness, warbikes and deffkopts come to mind. and i doubt they want to give marines even more fudgy defense rules.

That's not just marines that'll get the Ev rule... When I see that I see my dark eldar having more protection from shooting lol which we lack.

I'm not going to waste my time downloading it. Until the new rules are shipped in their shiny new (and no doubt expensive) boxed sets, it's not worth looking at. They could be an old set of prototype rules that have changed dramatically. Why read and learn something that may not be true? Plus, until 6th edition actually ships, those rules are worthless anyway.

It would be cool if a lot of these got accepted. 40k would be like a brand new game, which would be nice since the game has been the same since about 3rd ed with minor changes. New tactics and old armies seem like they would be a lot better, mainly orks due to no retreat update.

I just kinda skimmed through it a bit....... Hit and run is now only 3 inches yikes.. Fleet adds 2 to movement... wonder if you can still run and assault with that. Overwatch sounds like a warmachine rule.... If a enemy unit gets within 12 your unit can make an out of turn shooting. I heard bill tell logan that when he was teaching him how to play....

Alot of this crap has to be edited into all these codexes once the new addition is to come out to take effect. Your right with it being a brand new game.

Now... take this from somebody who started playing April 2011. I like the changes I am seeing so far. Reactive gaming on either your or your opponents turn. This have me excited but will take with salt and not read them... too much.

Heard rumor box set will be Chaos and IG. One please... who wants my IG for their Chaos?

I'm not really complaining with the changes I'm reading.... just won't go on too much about them until it's released.....

Remember these are all rumors and hear say. The interwebs are alight with people posting about this stuff. As always, we'll just have to wait until the rulebook is in our hands and we can all sit down at a bar and go through it like a group of law students studying for the BAR lol.

and to be honest some of this in that list sounds like wishlisting as well...

CCW ap6 ork and guants cant save hek if that happen screw playing whats the use of having save of + 6
which is y ive been saying upgrade thier save to 5+ otherwise +6 save is useless 0.0

I'm sure with the coming rule changes there will be upgrades in the core book to the basic races section to account for things like that

This rumor says that black templars are next after the necron 2nd wave and imperial guard hydra and veteran release... followed by 6th ed in july and a little after would be chaos legions.

I'm cutting way back on GW spending this year. I'll spring for 6th edition box set and a new Tau codex, but beyond that, the new stuff better come with a hand job before I'll dish out money to Games Workshop. I'm keeping my eye on eBay, Bartertown and Craigslist.

I still have my Ork army to finish off then I'm done and 2012 sees me painting the Orks. Will definitely spring for the new boxset tho.

Its fake! I got that from Tasty Taste who knows tons of people in GW. Thats twice in a week people have posted fake rumors to trool everyone. I dont really understand why they spend the time and effort!

Well Damn. A lot of those rules seemed like they would breathe some fresh air into a stale system. Oh well, back to focusing on tactics for the current meta.

i knew i called it most of the changes are just to severe and wishlist-ish.

I predict that 40k will get some of the 8th edition rules from fantasy added in. Those rules are pretty good and relativaley easy to use, so maybe that is where GW will go with it.
