Stripping and Repainting Empty Stripping and Repainting

Post  AllmightyDM Mon Feb 06, 2012 11:39 am

After seeing alot of really nice looking models, I'm stripping my Dark Eldar and repainting them. I'm torn between two or three color schemes. I'll post a few of them in here, but its basically a traditional black with green highlights, a chameleon which is black, blue, purple, with hints of green, and a dusty gray and red. I did a test wych last night with the dusty gray came out pretty well.

Anyways, did my research and Simple Green seems to be a good paint stripper. Also I've been watching some painting vids and the lady doing them paints two watery coats instead of directly painting to the minature from the paint. Saves a ridiculous amount of detail.

Only thing I couldn't get right was the eyes.
