Wet Palette on the cheap

Post  AArdvark085 on Sat Feb 04, 2012 10:49 pm

Capt and I were talking about this earlier in the week. Using a wet palette will kick you painting up a notch or two. Enjoy!

I didn't believe it till I tried it. It's like hitting level 50 in skyrim. You're just like, wow.

Just to test I went and bought all this stuff like starting from scratch. Less than $10 for everything.

So you're saying that if I use a wet pallet, my painting skill will raise from none at all to just completely awful?

Yes, yes I am lol. A wet pallet will also cure world hunger and build a home for all the homeless, including homeless animals. It's that good. Chuck Norris wishes he was a wet pallet Smile

It's a wet sponge with paper on the top basically. It keeps most of the opacity of the paints, but keeps them thinner to work with so the paint goes on smoother.
