Tyranids 2nd wave finally in march along with space wolves for March

This should make alot of tyranid players happy with a swarmlord/tyrant kit, tyrannofex/tervigon kit, etc... Plus space wolves thunderwolf cavalry finally with fenrisian wolves...

Hmm, good looking models for the wolves. I must prepare myself for the price shock.

yeah it says the price for them on the list that's in the article. the thunderwolf cavalry will be between 50-60 dollar range for 3. Also a space wolf lord on mount for 30-40 range....

Originally I quit playing wolves cause I gotten tired of proxying thunderwolves and GW never came out with the model until now lol.... So I'm kinda excited about this myself.

I am in for at least one flyrant to be magnetized with all options. It's about time GW.

I'm glad for the wolves players out there that they got new models. Its not enough to make me jump ship to the imperium though.

Dreadnought bases.. that's unexpected. I figured they'd be terminator or bike bases but that's a pleasant surprise

I think that they will be nice doubles for bloodcruchers.

Probably close to land raider cost. But in all honesty GW models aren't that expensive by themselves. Buying multiples is what makes it expensive. (I got overloaded on people complaining about GW prices on another site lol)

Well that's how they hook you 3 tervigons and a swarm lord = roughly 200$ that much $$$ is hard to part with no matter what your buying lol

To be honest I want my doomscythe/nightscythe model for necrons. Also Triarch stalkers, tomb spiders, and a couple of named characters would be nice as well..... Anrakyr in general...

OK, I just ordered the Thunderwolf Cavalry and the Thunderwolf Lord from GW (along with a chaos champ of Slaansesh but that is what not). The amount is outrageous ... but you know we do need our plastic crack. I want it! Must have my precious.

Yeah I've came back to wolves 3 times so far in playing this game.... It seems I always come back to them. Can't really understand why.

If I ever do go back to them I'll be playing some hero hammer with 3 wolf lords on thunderwolves, Iron Priests on thunderwolves plus cyberwolf escort, 3 full 5 man thunderwolf calvalry, canis wolfborn, and 2 full squads of 15 fenrisian wolves. I just think that would look impressive on the table lol.

I'm bias but there is something liberating about playing unbridled, feral, raging space vikings on steroids. That and the models are so damned cool looking. Sounds a lot like CSM don't they? Probably why I like those guys also!

Dude, that would be totally boss. And you'd probably know within the first 2 turns if you will win a game or not. Either you get shot up or you get into the enemy and they are probably chunky salsa.

Actually how I'd play them is attach the 3 thunderlords plus their wolf escorts and canis with wolf escorts to a 15 fenrisian wolf group creating the uber unit called a deathstar. The other fenrisian wolf goup will be in front wrapping around them to give a coversave. the other 3 thunderwolf calvalry and 3 iron priests with cyberwolf escort will be either behind or spread out to screw with opponents target priority..... So its a choice... Shoot the deathstar unit or shoot the other units that will hurt them as well.. They'll be SS and TH thrown into the mix with the regular calvalry and the 3 thunderlords will have Runic armor and SS.

The Tyranids though I'd like to get the swarmlord and paint it up.. I used to collect the Alien movie action figures when i was a kid when everyone else had other superheros... I was proud of my monsters as a kid lol.
