Army Builder

Post  grots life on Sat Jun 18, 2011 7:24 pm

Does anyone here use Army Builder for making your lists? If so, is there a way to update the program without having to remake all your saved lists? Every time I update, I get the message "this list was made with a different version of army builder" and then the list will only load one or two units if it loads any at all. There must be a way around this and still get the program updates.

Before you update, Army Builder always suggests that you save your lists as Test/HTML or whatever so you don't lose them, as the update will change the way the list was created.

Personally, they need to find a way to update their software without making your lists worthless. It's a real drag if you have multiple armies, then different lists for those armies, and you have to update *all* of them, especially if some are older and you don't remember what they had in them.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to load and resave my lists. I only have about 10 saved, but still, that's 10 lists I don't want to have to remake.

That did the trick. I need to set .xml as my default save extension.
