I seen an article online on another forum on this. There are different playstyles in this game for everyone.
So what is your style of play? Assaulty, Shooty, Fast, or Balanced style of play?

I myself can go with any style of play, but I like playing with Speed over all the others. I just like fast armies for the mobility.

I am also a fast/mobile style player, but I also am a fan of volume. I tend to favor units that present a high volume of fire to an opponent, the proverbial "wall of lead" as it were. That is probably why i enjoy tri-template guardians (3 flamers) and Dire avengers (Bladestorm ftw!) in wave serpents.

If i play space marines, its usually raven guard, cuz shrike is awesome...

Anything with lots of dice that moves fast is fun for me

I like a focused group of melee with long range fire support, my preferred army is a Webway portal with Incubi meleers with Ravagers as my "artillery".

I like a more balanced play style. With my BA I have out flanking shooters and a stormraven full of CC goodness with sang priest supported assault marines moving up the field in L/P razorbacks

Are lasplas razorbacks all that great? Seems like in any given razorspam list that's what they use..

Well TLLC are nice as well but if you stay still with L/P you get 2 str 7 AP shot w/n 12" and a las shot so it gives you that terminator killing pwr. Basically it just gives more option

I like Durable armies as well... That's what drew me to necrons, wolfwing, thousand sons CSM, or anything else with INV saves. I just think it's fun whenever your opponent throws everything including the kitchen sink and your still standing from it.
