Try this again

I just got some new Cygnar models, so I'm gonna start playing again. Anyone up for a game sometime? I don't know the rules 100% but I am spending the next week reading over tactics and rules.

I can play you, but it won't be this sunday due to easter egg hunt with my kids.... family time ya know.

For warmachine I mainly use Retribution of Scyrah which I only have 3 different casters and the starter equivalent 3 jaks for them. Getting eiryss the mage hunter of ios in the mail. Also soon to be in the process of doing a mercenary army.

For Hordes I have Legion of Everblight which I'm getting a new lock in the mail and a trollbloods starter cause I like both. Also for everblight getting the unique Typhon creature... lol. It's a 3 headed dragon that works well the absylonia... Also for trollbloods got Borka Kegslayer and the heavy warbeast Mulg the ancient.

If you wanting to read up on tactics try googling the battlecollege for your faction. It'll give you the rundown on your characters. Cygnar is more of a run and gun type of army..

Well good news. I may have to cut back on my 40k gaming since I will be working on the weekends, so warmachine may be my game of choice for a while until things change. I'll have monday, wednesday, and most of fridays off.

cool maybe we can get a couple more people into it.

OK, I am diving head first into this. By the end of summer I want to run a tournament at Jaks for the Warmahordes players. I believe enough people in the club have armies collecting dust that this is possible. I will start bringing up my Cygnar and getting some experience with them. The great thing is that because you can play faster and on a smaller table with less models we might be able to do a few small games at my house or someone else's house. Anyway, anyone interested feel free to post/message and lets get this off the ground. Privateer Press has some great stuff coming (war room) and does decent support of local tournies. The company reminds me of an early GW when they gave out prize support to get their name out.

@Hereticwolf: by the legion or cryx from here....www.coolstuffinc.com click on miniatures, then either warmachine or hordes from that list that pops up. Then it has a list of factions to single it down more. Battlebox for Everblight on there is $37.49. That's a hell of alot cheaper than what you'll pay at jaks or direct from privateerpress.

Now since I have a better car I'm not scared to travel out of county anymore so you should see me coming to jaks alot more often... I'll bring my retribution, trollbloods, and legion
