A break down of Adepticon armies

Post  Dr. Hans Zarkov on Thu May 24, 2012 1:29 am

I'm sure someone beat me to this, but here is a rough breakdown of the percentages of armies used at Adepticon.
Tyranids 0% (edit)
Sisters of Batltle 0%
Black Templars 2%
Daemons 3%
Chaos 3%
Dark Angels 3%
Eldar 3%
Tau 3%
Orks 5%
Dark Eldar 6%
Space Marines 8%
Necrons 8%
Blood Angels 10%
Guard 11%
Space Wolves 16%
Grey Knights 22%

There were more GK players then sisters, tyranids, templars, daemons, chaos, dark angels, eldar, tau, and orks......combined

I won't play Grey Knights anymore. Between my being a terrible player and them being stupidly overpowered, it's no fun for anyone when I'm tabled in the first round. I'd like to get to at least the end of round two before I lose a game. Grey Knights have a big, shiny red 'I win' button on them.

There were zero Nid players at Adepticon in the GT. There were some in the team event and some of the 1000 pt games.

Yea, grey knights are... really good.

Really?!? No 'nids? no 'sisters? wow.

Those are pretty skewed numbers. coming from l5r tourney's, im very used to each faction/theme differience of like 5%. And with GW's policy of no balance based errata or faq, it seems unlikely that it will get fixed. I doubt even that with the release of 6th ed, grey knights will be knocked off their high horse. Probably gonna be at least a few years of grey knight power house lol.

How many people played btw?

[edit]

I found out... 240 Players! 30 pre-reg players either didnt show or dropped, so a lot more people that didnt think they'd get in, did anyway. Sounds like a blast. Im sorry I missed it.
