Hello everyone, the January tournament for SMG will be held on Saturday January 5th at the Gauiter Convention Center.
$5 entry fee
Rules:6th edition warhammer 40k rules
1999 points
3 rounds
Warlord traits allowed
No mysterious terrain
Fortifications allowed: Aegis Defense & Bastain tower
No Apoc or IA allowed
Dice hits the tables at 11am

Prizes for club events are in the works and will be discussed at a later time

Considering one of the last away tournaments caused some confusion about painting ... how will painting effect a players score in this SMG tournament?

Painting hasn't mattered before in smg tournaments and still does not now for playing and winning. But there will be extra points (not much 1-5 it will be clarified before the January tournament ) given to painted armies so you are still rewarded for you hard work. But it will not prevent you from winning

I love it, and future events will have it, I am just trying to get it as close to Coastal assault as possible

My painting skills are sub par, but as long as I can have a chance at winning I'm game. My army isn't going to win any beauty contests, but I did pick up some new brushes so I'm going to be touching everything up.

Anyone else coming?

Ill be there! Just got one question: How do people feel about proxies and "counts as" for this event? Most of you know How I roll, and Im all about the super cheap army lol!

Same as all other SMG events counts as is good, as long as you can tell a difference in what is what, but don't go to over board like green army men, I have seen your raven guard tanks it that is what u are talking about, that is fine
