Who plays what for Warmachine/Hordes?

I just thought we all should chime in with whatever factions we each play. Plus this will give us an idea on how many people play in our gaming group to help out with later organizing a tournament like capn suggested down the road..... I'll start it off

I play Retribution of Scyrah for warmachine factions
For Hordes I play Trollbloods and Legion of Everblight.

I play cygnar. Also, I am looking into when we could do a steamroller tourny. I can get all the certificates from PP as well as any patches, shirt, and PP dice needed. As well as some cool free certificates for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Great ideas... I need to buy more for trollbloods lol.

Also how many points can people do. I currently have 35 pts with a lot more on the way. Can I know warsmith Forrix can do 35, what about everyone else.

I have 22 or 23 points for trollbloods depending on which of the two locks I bring..

16-18 points of scyrah depending on which 3 casters I use.

27-28 points for legion of everblight which I have 2 different locks for as well.

All of these is with the free jack/beast points from the locks/caster subtracted.

You wait until next month and I'll have more. I spent a big part of my money on getting necrons for 40k. Kinda spreaded the rest amongst videogames I wanted and stuff.

I guess me and you are the only ones enthused about this.

I'll have to do some doctor work on some of my menoth, but I can do 35pts. Also, weekends are no good for me for tournaments since I have to work them now.

I'm looking to start come may time frame I will be buying the cryx battlebox

I think enough people are looking for another game right now that its a good time to start up.

Yeah I'll probably end up coming down this sunday with trollbloods I have to play a game on the side of the tournament if I don't finish all my immortals for 40k.

I have a Protectorate army. Probably around 30 points painted, and a lot more unpainted.

We are all just starting off so unpainted is not a problem. Right now we are looking for a solid group of players.

I think we have a solid group of players it's just they have 40k armies as well and our group is 40k dominant in most of everything we do. Cause off the top of my head I can name 7-8 people that have warmahordes armies, but just sit them to the side to play 40k more.

I agree there. I couldn't make my mind up on an army for 40k for me at all. In hordes it was easy Trolls. I like the synergy, tough, and heavy hitting they have. Warmachine the jury is out on. I want to get some mercs for 4 star syndicate contract and khador stuff to try out before making my mind up. My wife wants my retribution stuff I have because she doesn't have a second army.

My goal by the end of the summer is to be a press ganger for our club. I think if I can get that off it'll help a lot.

I've looked it up. That is interesting. There is only one press ganger in starkville MS. Maybe I can step up to the plate to be one later on to help out in our club.

I've been playing games already here and there at my place with my wife and at a friends during the week. So gaining some experience...

When are we going to start playing a couple of games? Sundays, Saturdays, Fridays?

Me, heretic, warsmith Forrix will be playing Sunday after 40k campaign. Also, I'm transferring next spring so I'm sure they would like to keep a ganger active, if not have more than one especially with all the FLGS opening up recently.

Cool I'll come down this sunday with my legion of everblight and trollbloods. So maybe we can get a couple more games in.

I bought a Khador starter set long time ago, so I guess I will play I dont like the way Khador looks so I just bought Menoth Codex (if thats what it is called) instead!

Menoth is all about fire magic, buffs, and decent armor. I have the guides to the other factions posted in another thread below this one if you really can't make your mind up. Just helping out.

We had a great turn out Sunday. Myself, CKO, heretic, warsmith, and kunnin&kwick all showed up and played a few games.

I can't wait to play again myself.

I am reading the fluff and its some good stuff. I like how I randomly picked Protectorate of Menoth, and I find out that they are very religious so maybe it was Menoth who guided me there you all shall be concerned!
