Quick question, I plan on attending this tournament as well as the one on Nov 1st. Is it two detachments only per BAO rules?

I have seen lists with Primary, Ally and Adamantine Lance formation. However, I constructed an Ultramarine, Space Wolves and Knight Detachment (One Knight Paladin) list and realized that this might not be legal since it is considered a detachment instead of formation. I am further confused by how 3 Knights are fine but one is not but that's 40k for ya

Thoughts from your group? Is my list ok for your tourney or do I need to reconfig?

I'm assuming the tourney is 1850 with Maelstrom type missions?

As per BAO mission construction guidelines you may have two detachments, one of which must be a CAD/ faction detachment, the other may be a formation or an allied detachment, though you may not have both an ally and a formation in the same army, since a formation is listed as a special type of detachment in the rulebook. Hopefully this helps.
