Necron H.P.C. Fog and 40K
Well Jan an Feb have come and gone...... Just wanted to catch u all up on my Progress Challenge....
I changed the final army composition to include an allied Korean Lancer Cav and some Light foot for balance. I made the completion date of March 9th. and did play the army in the 4th annual South Mississippi Armies of Conquest, SMAC Down tourney. Finished in the middle of the pack. I was handed my shirt in the first game and was never able to pull out a decisive victory that I needed to move into the top finishers. I was not disappointed with the army's performance just mine. I had hopes but since my opener was against one of the top 10 players in the world, I did what i could. I almost won on the right flank, but alas ... it was not to be. Any way I have had a blast finishing my "Army of the Spring." Rich has promised me a rematch and who knows .... maybe next time
So here is my army
Spring
My Shinto Shrine Camp
Protected Superior Spearmen guarding the camp
My army:
Armored Superior Bow fighting behind Standing Shields and Generals
Lancer Cav and Light Foot
It was fun, all 202 figures ..........
Now on with the next two armies.
Army of the Winter ...... another fog army
New Necron Army for Bayou Wars .... Second week in June
Back to painting

The UltraMarine Fortress of Redemption
Here is is … My March Project …. Completed 4/6/2013. Snow effects as well.
Here we have the “Fortress of Redemption” Macragge,”” Here marks the entrance to the UltraMarines polar fortresses. This is the site of the UltraMarines noblest sacrifice and greatest loss Here in Date Code 745.M41, the onset of the Tyranid Wars and the beginning of the Battle for Macragge the UltraMarines 1st Company fought the invading Hive Fleet Behemoth, to the man. When Captain Fabian and elements of his 3rd Company relieved the Polar Fortresses, it was through these hallowed halls that they found the now quieted bodies of the Space Marines of the 1st Company. They had died to the man defending Macragge and the Polar Fortresses.
Macragge is now under the protection of Captain Idaeus and the “Defenders of Ultramar. As the FOR Heraldry indicate, Captain Idaeus and his 4th Company still makes their planetary headquarters here.
“None Shall Pass” …………….. Captain Idaeus, 4th Company UltraMarines
………………. The Black Knight, Monty Python and the Holy Grail
See you on the battlefield …..
Necron (UltraMarine101)
Chapter Banner
Captain Idaeus and the 4th Company Banner and The Hallowed Gates
Marneus Augustus Calgar on his Thrown
Invictus of the 1st Company and the Twin-Linked Icarus Lascannon
Defenders of Ultramar
Thanks for Looking

Re: Necron H.P.C. Fog and 40K UltraMarine FOR
Took the UltraMarine FOR out for its first trial run last night and was pleased with its performance. Although I did not win (alas the Relic got away) it did what I wanted it to do. It has a nice WOW factor and the game was so much fun. Jason and Brandon played the Eldar very well and I think we all had great fun ..... Thanks for the game guys.....
Now on to my April and May HPC ....... New Necrons and FOG stuff .... getting ready for Bayou Wars in June

Re: Necron H.P.C. Fog and 40K
Justin ........
I'm planning on playing my Army of the Summer at Bayou Wars in June. I'm practicing every chance I get. Maybe we can get a game in and you can figure out my weaknesses . As to the other things at BW.... I have a great many Necrons as of yet unassembled. I am planning on painting a full 2000 points on Necrons to sale at BW. I also have several custom army boxes for FOG and am planning on making three Camps for sale. One camp will be Chinese, one general Asian good for most of the Empires of the Dragon army book, and one just general Medieval. Let's get a game in sometimes... We are looking good for a demo at SMG Games day.... right ?
Chris.......
Bayou Wars is June 7 - 9 in the New Orleans area. The Web site is http://www.bayouwars.org/ There is also a Yahoo Group that follows all the comings and Goings ...... They always have a great 40K tourney and most times Fantasy .... I will be playing FOG for the three days but if someone needs trans maybe we can work on that .....
Great to hear from both of you ..... we should get a game in sometimes.....

Re: Necron H.P.C. Fog and 40K Fog Practice
Justin,
Yes Sat is good. Will work out the time later. Will try to bring my son and grandson so he can get a little more indepth with FOG. He has 3 BGs and his camp for his Pic army finished. Look forward to the play.... 2 short 800 pts or a longer 900 point game ???? Bayou wars in June is looking like 800 points so we might go that way unless you want the larger game..
Hey DOC, how about games days ......... Will send you a PM ........
