There Can Only Be One Highlander 4th of July Event - Warhammer 40k

This is an event, not a competitive event, so lets have fun. maCnarB Gaming will have food and be grilling. so we hope to see you all there.

There can be only one! This is a 1500 point 40k event with the following special limitations. No allies are allowed. No Super Heavies, No Fortifications, No Formations, No Data slates, Just good old fashion standard HQ, Troop, Fast, Elite, and heavy dudes. There is no unit duplication allowed, at all, not even dedicated transports. Units like IG Priests and Blood Angel priests who come multiples for one slot are also limited to one per army. . If your army list has only one troop choice available to it (example: Sisters of Battle) then you are only required (or permitted) to field one troop choice.

Let me clearify some questions i got today. Squadrons are not allowed. but min squad sizes are for example - Imperial Guard Infantry Platoon - Requires 1x Platoon Squad and 2x Infantry squads. This is all you can get on that.

Terrain
Hills: All rolling hills are open terrain, granting 4+ cover via LOS blocking/interference as normal but do not count as difficult terrain.
Rock Towers, Crates, and Can Towers: Are impassible and block LOS completely (even if there are actual gaps in the terrain pieces).
All other terrain functions as outlined in the book BRB pg. 108-113.

another question that was brought up. Lord of wars are allowed. but no super heavies or super gargantuan type stuff. example - Ghazghkull Thraka who is LOW is allowed but not baneblades or warhounds
