Interesting but i just hope gw just doesnt turn each army into the same army with different models :/

New Drop ship. Not the FW one, but something new. Holds a boatload of fire warriors, or a few battle suits.

Should be fun

1. Kroot HQ is in the works!
2. Kroot to get own transport (Devilfish will no longer be able to transport Kroot)
3. Kroot will get light armor saves (6+)
4. Kroot shaper will allow for the unit to have a special genetic trait.

Yeah according to rumors a crisis suit commander will unlock crisis suits as troops, The etherial will unlock fire warriors as troops, kroot shaper makes kroot warriors as troops. It'll be pretty flexible.

Cant wait to see new models!

This rumor says tau on the back of january white dwarf release...... necrons done that the month before the release correct?... I know with salt on rumors.... but still.

I hope the same thing, my friend, a lot of games are going that route, and I will be seriously disappointed if they do that here in 40k. Its a personal gripe of mine, and I have to spend a willpower point not to go into a 9 page rant about the subject... sufficed to say, if they do that (standardize the hobby) ill prolly stop playing...

Yeah that would be lame.... But I would be for bringing armies up to snuff with the standard metagame. Kinda like privateerpress does with their armies for horde and warmachine... Every race there has specialties without being grossly overpowered... So it's more tactical game than a game of chance... According to the rumors of 6th edition GW might be doing just that...

That is a difficult task, especially for a company structured as GW is. Other, smaller, companies are able to keep up with the current meta environment because they can send their few staff to tournies and see the adaptations (also most of the design staff for those companies are recruited from the best players among that hobby). Other, LARGER, companies, however, can afford to hire massive teams of playtesters, and rules-lawyers and such to ensure the designer's product is balanced and fun from every perspective (see AEG and WotC respectively).

That said, the structure as well as the system GW has built their company upon is not appropriately geared for such an endeavor and unless they make some serious changes in their corporate structure I dont think they will be able to balance the game appropriately. Without doing the "everything is the same but it looks different" crap we all dont like.

It makes sense the forge world crisis suits make a lot of money...

This is the next group of rumors from natfkas blog for tau.... This is saying Phil Kelly is writing it now... all these rumors contradict themselves.... lol.
