Got an email from Carter from the Emerald Coast War Gamers who said they are hosting an 1850 point 40k event with "unique and fun" scenarios. He said it’s a bunch of fun. It will be on 24 Mar 12 more information to follow. I am up for driving over for the day.

That might be a good time I'd love to go but I can't lock in till the week before or so

I may try as well just got to see how work is when it gets closer

Nice. My wife is headed out of town for a wedding that weekend. I should be able to make that easy!

can i ride with someone i don't want to actually play in the tournament. but it would be nice to go check out a bigger venue. maybe i can help with your blog. interview a few players or something. gets some good shots of the better painted armies.

Ok guys who is going and how many people can drive? I made the trip last month and its only about 2.5 hours each way. So we can go have fun then come home. I already have a full load so I need more people to drive so we can get the rest over there. I'm sure they would be willing to pitch in for gas and maybe buy you lunch!

I can't drive but i can chip in for gas

I got a pretty cheap on gas car that can take about 2-3 guys.... 2 would be preferred though because my car is small lol.... It's a 2 and a half drive to where? I have to know that before making my mind up.

That is as long as people chip in for gas.

Nevermind I googled it... On the other side of pensicola FL. Pretty good trip over there. What's the entry fee, what time it starts and any stipulations to enter the tournament?

Ok alex and pat is riding with me there next month. I could carry another person, but I prefer not to because it looks awkward for 4 grown guys piling out of my car.... Reminds me of a clown car at a circus if we get that many.

It is pretty funny yeah... You can ask Orikl he rode in my car before.... for a total of 4 guys...

Also the reason I ask for specifics on the tournament scene is because I don't have a fully painted or based army. Plus I'm missing some models in my army which I used Dark Eldar Models to fill in as mainly for... If your required to have the actual models and painted/based I can't go and I don't want to leave Pat and Alex hanging

The car pool will be arranged shortly so that anyone needing a ride will have one. Will keep you posted. I think you should look at leaving around 0600 to be there on time. It took us about two hours to make it from my house in Ocean Springs.

if you need modles man ill let you barrow some. i have one full squad and lots of scouts you can barrow along with some landspeeders.

I play necrons... I have 2 ghost arks unpainted and I use Dark Eldar razorwing jetfighters for necron doomscythes. I've played against you with them last SMG tournament. You played me first with the random 6 objectives

oh yeah i thought u had space marines lol my bad.

yeah I used to have wolves. I gotten rid of them all though. Went against the imperium... lol
