disproportionate marine armor

the most iconic part of the Astartes is the power armor they wear. whilst normal art portraies the armor as being just big enought to cover teh body, later renditions show massive pulk of playsteel. several inches thick. leaving only the head barely visable between the sholders. whether you like it or not, you cant deny that this look gives a sence of power and an even superhuman quality to our geneticly altered defenders of humanity. On deviantArt, the artist Greyall dose a few renders of several chapters, and even primarks.

i went and downloaded the 1st ed codex... HOLY CRAP! Your totally right! I really do prefer the older style, especially now!
