2012 rumored release schedule for 40k

This actually makes me mad to read it cause I like chaos. Seems like everyone and their grandmother is making up crap to say about the starter for 6th.

Yeah the rumor mill says Dark Angels vs Chaos marines. If so this will be the first power armor vs power armored starter in the history of 40k.

I think at the end of the day we can speculate but won't know until release day. I don't know why they just don't release a yearly schedule of what they plan on putting out... I mean they would already have all that planned since the year before you know? What benefit is it to keep the lid on everything as no one digs the secrecy and it's not like I'm going to rush out and buy the newest models just because they are new.

Well from what I heard in the past is that some of the rumors from the past ruined the release for a couple of codexs/army books is the reason they keep a lid on it. Spoiled the surprise for everyone cause everyone knew what to buy and avoided making mistakes. GW wants people to make mistakes in WH40k cause that's what makes their profit. I'm with you heretic on doing just the schedule would be enough to tide me over until a release. From what their doing now though they started putting it on youtube a week ahead of time, beasts of war does an exclusive, and then the rumors/codex facts mix really pour in. I mean look at the necron rumors the week before release. 90% was spot on, but had to wait until the week before to weed out the false rumors from the wishlisting.

I've heard it's because of the Hobbit movie and the studio told GW no rumors on anything.

Yeah the Hobbit does come out in december. From the previews it looks to be good.
