GW goes digital for codex's!

Every publisher on the planet reduces the price of digital books since there is no extra cost of printing and shipping a physical book, except Games Workshop. They charge more for them. This at the same time as their annual, much higher than inflation, price increases has really turned me off to that greedy company. How long can a company fleece it's customers before they say enough?

Don't know about yall but I don't have an ipad. And if you can afford one-- I'm thinkin that they figure you can buy their over priced digital books. It's crap. A niche market that they are trying to narrow. I see warmachine becoming more popular.

GW says "what's this whole War Room thing from PP? Let's look into this...." Then the GW boys get really upset and quickly decide to put all their stuff into PDF forum (since it was already like that on their hard drives) and rush something into production so that it looks like they are staying current. LOL

Yeah I saw this yesterday on another blog. GW is going overboard on prices. I think with 6 edition coming out soon. That will either make or break 40k for GW with their unpopularity of the 8 edition fantasy that came out.

Why do people keep saying how bad 8th edition fantasy is? By people, I'm looking at all the hardcore 40K tournament crowd. 8th edition is by far the best version of the game. It plays faster and smoother than ever before. The whole system is more streamlined and a lot more fun. I can only hope that 6th edition 40K is MORE like fantasy, it will make me want to keep playing.

I wasn't saying that 8th edition fantasy sucked. So please don't misunderstand me. I was saying that it was unpopular. I do want to play fantasy soon. It's just with the price hikes that GW is putting in everything I can't buy anything for a while. I don't have the money to do that but once a year. Fine Wine tastes on a beer budget if you will.

The goal of 6th edition is to make 40k more like fantasy making it an easier transition for players to switch from their favorite game system to the other.

like me with warham fatasy i quit the game and selling all my fantasy army wasted my time paying 1200 bucks no one wants play and a dwarf army since katrina and nvr seen a table but one time
