Right now I'm trying to use the instant mold product for certain bit pieces. I'm not using green stuff, but have decided to use resin. I was just wondering if anyone here knows a lot about casting and molding and could help me out with how to do it.

Navigate yourself over to Youtube and enter "casting resin" in the search box. Then sit back and watch hours and hours of tutorials on casting things with resin and injection molding. I imagine a Google search will deliver similar results.

So I had a decent cast, but a piece just decided to warp itself to hell. I thought it was pretty good for only 2 days of molding and casting, but I may need a bit of a more elaborate process to really get details and good casts. Sad Oh well. This could be something good to bring up for hobby day.

I've been goofing up. lol the instant mold product, which is awesome, should not be used with 2 part resin. The heat that it generates will warp the mold and is a pain to seal to avoid leaks. But I can say that there is nothing that will stick to that stuff. Super glue peels and pops right off. lol On another note, I have a mold starter kit coming in the mail and I will see how this goes. Instant mold works great with green stuff for small bit making though.

You're just not using enough glue.
