I'm not a big fan of the bloodbrides. Looks like you are packing a crapton of anti-tank. I'm sure the tourneys are full of mechanized lists. I've never done any tourney gaming. Typically I stick to wyches with haywires loaded in venoms, ravagers, and venoms with trueblasters for vehicle destruction. I'm not a big fan of putting dark lances on warriors because if the ship moves he can't fire.

I saw you fielded the duke, gives a bunch of free deepstrike stuff, but I'm pretty opposed to deep striking stuff unless its just 1 or two doods. Given your list could you switch out for Ash, probably steal initiative and take your chances on busting up the opponent with an alpha strike? You could put your ravagers on the edges and then 12" move them to one flank and possibly deny your opponent the use of 1/3 of the table and keep moving throughout the game and lump up on one side with concentrated fire.

Well everyone can run the list the way you want to man. The ravagers are good anti-tank factor. Me personally would field trueborn with blasters in a venom over the bloodbrides. That way you have duality. Venom with 2 splinter cannons for infantry, Trueborn with blasters for anti-tank.

I thought you where going with a hormonculi driven list man. You said you like the talos and grotesques and I seen you use them to great effect. All you have to do after that is throw in 6 hormonculi, Wracks for troops choice escort for them with raider transports. Keep the ravagers in there for anti-tank... Webway portals to get your talos and cronos pain engine into the enemy asap. The enemy won't know where it's coming from if you drop 3-4 webway portals in the middle board to your opponents deployment area.

I have a love-hate relationship with the talos.. while its an awesome unit... he crumbles to antitank, no save, no real chance to avoid wounds... I wish they would have given him a 5++ like a ravager.

he'll get feel no pain from krak missiles that most wolves run once he kills something. Feel no pain on anything except for ap2 and ap1 weapons.... that's pretty sturdy to me. Most marine lists run ap 1 weapons, but if you have raiders with dark lances some 2 squads of blaster trueborn in venoms backing that. The enemy wouldn't know what to go after first. Messes with there target priority.

i ran with the true born in venom on my first list just couldnt i have some of my stuff being painted by andyvan

They good, but I thought you where runing grotesques with Rakarth as one Hq

groteque was one of the models being painted have 6 of them have three painted other 3 not andyvan is painting my wracks coven army now as we speak
