State of your hobby

So, what is everyone working on? My current list looks something like this:

1. Finish my Tomb Kings army. I'm nearly done with it, I just need to get my chariots based and look at methods to paint a lot of skeletons quickly.
2. Get my Necron's repaired and protected. The ones I have with the spider bodies are very fragile and quite a few of them need minor repairs and I need a better travel method for them.
3. Organize my Tau. Got a ton of the little space goats, but I need to form them into an actual army.
4. Inventory everything I have. All of it. 40K and Fantasy. That will take a while.

Those are my top priorities. What are you working on?

ok well I have some things going on.

1. I inherited necrons 2 months before the new codex been loving them ever since. Also inherited 2000 points of tyranids which I sold to patrick. Also my old Wolf Wing back with 44 terminator models from a friend that jumped out of this hobby. It kinda halted my progress on Dark Eldar.
2. My Dark Eldar army so far has pretty much everything except for a couple of transports and infantry models. I want to expand, but I only get paid once a month so that slows everything down.
3. Been trying to put together necron warriors.... the guy I've got them from put all arms in a bag together off the sprue so I've been trying to sort through them and finding pairs of arms and gluing them to the warrior models.... It's frustrating work, but I believe I have 2000 points to try out next weekend.

2: paint as many Knights Errant posible befor tourny.
3: finish second half of Dark eldar order.
4: Paint Vehicle markers.
5: build vehicle craters.
6: build carry board.
7: update rescent paintings on Deviant and facebook accounts.
8: Buy used Space marines & Vehicles off ebay. strip'em, Fix'em, paint'em and try to sell back for profit.
9: (SHOULD) draw more concepts for Club logo.
10: ?????????
11: profit!

This post is a good idea, it helps us get organized for what we still have on your 40K plates to accomplish.

In no real order ....

Complete my Iron Cross Legion army for tournament play: finish up painting vets, buy and complete 2-3 magnetized valks/vends, make sure my army is completely WYSIWYG.

Collect some more space wolves from ebay to amass a spanking huge army of mad angry space vikings. (70% there)
Continue to sell old stuff/battletech collection on ebay to continue to pay for said space wolf army.
Have space wolf army painted completely by, oh say, next Christmas. (slow painter here).

Compete in more tournaments.

Start collecting CSM/other army a tiny little bit at a time.

Get better at 40K and have more fun at it!

1. Finish painting my space wolves.
2. Retrieve my Imperial guard from Nevada.
3. Strip the paint from my Imperial Guard and REpaint them.
3.5 Paint more of Grots models for him.
4. Finish converting and then base and paint my Rune Preist.
5. Start painting and collecting more Skaven for fantasy.
6. Plan a Planetstrike Campaign!
7. Play more games.
8. Eat Mor Chikin.....
9. Convert models from imp gaurd to the servitude of the greater good!
10. Do a little dance, make a little love, and get down tonight.
11. Get more drop pods!
12. Build thunderhawk gunship from scratch.

Thats a well rounded plan of action....

My game table is assembled and the organization has begun. My box of sale/trade stuff is filling up and my box of unfinished miniatures is getting smaller. This week I will start to paint skeletons.

2.Sean Lowery has accepted my request to help me come up with a paint scheme

4.Open another box of Necron warriors

Ok so the imperial guard were not in nevada so that needs to be changed to start that over from scratch.

I've decided just to collect one army, the DE, tyranids look cool, but I'll probably wait till they get a new codex or something.

1. Work on my dark eldar haemonculus army... Which is like wracks, grotesques, and talos engines... going to take a while due to costs
2. I've got a huge batch of wracks, some warriors, some wyches, and a few vehicles I'm going to attempt to "pro-paint" rather than my fairly quick and dirty paintjob.
3. Finish my webway portals, I bought some christmas ormanents rather than paying the 30-40 bucks or whatever they wanted for each one on ebay, got one painted looks great

same here got my wracks and my grotesques and talos

I just finished modeling my rune priest!

I have found a list I like for my GK, and am working on painting up the remainder for Coastal Assault as well as making a display board for the Coast Assault.

I'm working on a display board and/or one sixth of a possible game board. I chose a 2'X2' oak board to use and just finished my 2nd plaster coating, large rock and hill. I've also molded several other rocks yet to be placed. Painting and turfing will be next and I hope to have pictures soon.

Put together the other ghost ark... Just finished putting together my retribution stuff for warmachine. Feeling kind of accomplished after finishing one ghost ark to a point I can paint it.

Got my storm ravens set up now i need a blood angels codex so i can make a list. I already have space wolves list put together

I've come to the realization that I've got so many unbuilt and unfinished models, I'm putting a hold on all new purchases until I'm caught up with what I already have. The only exception I'm making is for bits that I may need to finish off a project.

I have everything built so now I'm foaming at the mouth for another project to do. Been kinda on the fence between doing a few different things.

I need to paint my whirlwind, my predator, my 3 drop pods & my stormravens..

I've finished my move to Diamondhead (except for the pool table and my old car) and all my Warhammer stuff is boxed up. The exception being my Chaos Marines, which I kept separate for the campaign. I hope to have them all unboxed within the next three weeks and I settle into the new house. I still plan to make a big order to Forgeworld next Sunday. I also received three cans of the red primer that I am using for my Blood Angels chapter, so work on them will resume soon too.

Lots of painting is in my near future...
