mind shackle scarab

i was just playing a game sunday come up with a situation

6 men of my immortal was already in combat with lysander

i assualted him with my overlord and 5 necron lord

i mind shackle him
then it was said i gave up my round of combat cuase mind shackle went off of his initiative
now my immrtals and the lord cant hit him something not right bout
could someone clarify this

6 men of immortals in combat with the IC[lysanders]
5 lords and overlord assualted lysander
and mindshackle him hit himself now he down to 3 wound
now i have immrtals and the lords to go attack him [going of a initiative order]

are all in combat

You still get your attacks its the tessarct or whatever it is called that you give up your attacks and even then its just that model that the whole squad.
