Apocalypse Warhammer 40k February 16th SMG event at the Gauiter Convention Center

Hey guys if you plan on attending the Apoc game please post up what army you are playing and if you have super heavy's or not. It would help us out with planning a bunch.

Attending. I have four 4000 point armies prepared and will bring whichever one is best suited to balance the teams.

Blood Angels + Baneblade
Chaos Marines + Warhound Titan
Orks + Stompa
Necrons, no super heavy

Let me know which army is needed/wanted and I'll bring it. I'm bringing all the super heavies regardless.

I'll be planning to run grey knights.

Quick question, how is fluff being looked at for this scenario? For example if i run codex space marines as a traitor chapter, or use tyranid rules to make an army of kung-fu monks or something, what will decide which side i'll be on? Fluff or mechanics?

I didnt hear back from you, so i have back-up after back-up after back up... Also, just having a list does not, necessarily, tell what side I'd be on, it could easily be coat-of-painted to work on either side, I just need to know the story of the mission so I can write one for my army!

a question came to mind yesterday that i think needs to be verified before i finalize my list

The Apoc book says that we can use whatever units for our armies (and in this case, fitting to the FOC) and states that limitations such as 0-1 do not apply

we are using this rule, correct?

The only thing you should use the apoc book for is the stats for the vehicle or person you are using. The rules for everything else have been posted on the 1st page

so then we ARE using the 1+ rules of certain codices that require units to be fielded for those armies?

If any one is going to play necrons please send me a message and lets discuss models..... I have some to loan and would like to discuss borrowing some... I will be happy to coordinate a clearing house for loan/borrow models. As an example I have a dozen (12) old wraiths I could loan as I do not plan on using them ......... might be fun for someone to run 2 juiced up wraith squads .......

Hey, wondering if there is still time to sign up? I would prefer to bring Dark Angels, but I can bring Tau. No super heavies.

There really isn't a sign up time, it just helps for me to know who is coming for the missions and teams, but I know people will show up the day of and I will have to adjust things, but yes we got you down, so your gonna do dark angels then?

It would have been out earlier this week but I was out with the flu, me and Carl are Skype ing tonight for the final story . It will be up after that
